Originally, this website began in 2004 as an online journal with a paid e-mail service. It was with this journal that I connected with people across the country, made friends that I have never met, and found a love for communicating. Over time, I found writing soothed me. As I became a better writer, I aspired to be a better artist.
I've dabbled in painting, collage work, poetry competitions, digital art, and pencil/charcoal drawing. I haven't always been true to my creativity, but it has always been true to me. I use it to sort things out, to make a living, and to extend my love. Writing about and taking pictures of what went on inside my head often felt so natural that to avoid it would create a vacancy in my spirituality.
I hope you enjoy looking around, and maybe even find yourself inspired. Sometimes I'll upload photos and other times I'll write. I might post a photo-recipe or two, and I may disappear from this site for weeks at a time. I have learned, however, that I always return.
